weekend breakfast: fresh blueberry muffins.

I find a lot of my go-to recipes by searching “best _____ recipe ever”.
Well, these blueberry muffins were not the best ever, despite their blog post’s title.
They were good, but a little too biscuit-y and not moist and fluffy enough for me. Oh well, the search goes on for a great blueberry muffin recipe.Maybe I should have used this one.

However, I really liked having breakfast hot n’ fresh out the kitchen. Maybe next week I’ll try some petitie vanilla bean scones?

This morning’s breakfast:

. right outta the oven not-the-best-ever blueberry muffins, complete with streusel topping (with a bite missing… how weird is that?)
. a sliced D’anjou pear
. a cup of milk instead of coffee
